Fannie
Mae Home Counselor Online ™ PLUS Cooperative Processing Resources
DMS Professional Suite ™ EQUALS more great opportunities for
CPR Member Agencies
Dallas, Texas – June 1, 2005 – Cooperative
Processing Resources (CPR) announces our new software interface
between Fannie Mae’s (FNM/NYSE) Home Counselor Online ™
(HCO) Web application and CPR’s DMS Professional Suite™
debt management software. This interface provides a seamless counseling
experience for CPR’s members and their clients.
Fannie Mae has worked with CPR to integrate the two
systems, which allows Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS)
counselors and support staff to provide an integrated counseling
experience to their clients, from debt management through home-buyer
education and counseling.
The integration of these two systems provides the
CCCS counselors the ability to move seamlessly between the automated
working environments offered by the two applications. This integration
also offers a complete automation
of the counseling process for clients by enabling the transfer of
data to mortgage origination systems of lender partners. Using Home
Counselor Online, counselors can provide home-buyer education and
counseling and, with the client’s consent, electronically
send a client’s data to their lender partners for origination
and underwriting.
Fannie Mae's HCO technology – the company's
free, automated client tracking and counseling support software
- is used by hundreds of counseling agencies and lenders in all
50 states. HCO creates direct electronic links between counselors
and lenders to ensure the smooth transition from counseling to homeownership.
CPR wishes to sincerely thank CCCS of Delaware
Valley, Inc. for their help and assistance with this entire project.
About CPR
CPR is the industry's premiere Debt Management System
(DMS) provider.
We are a Texas Cooperative association that is owned
by a cooperative membership consisting of credit-counseling agencies,
both large and small. CPR currently has 42 members in the United
States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Working together as a cooperative
in order to ensure continued technical support was the primary reason
for creating CPR. Agencies wanted to work together and have control
over the enhancements and destiny of the DMS Professional Suite
software application. CPR’s ongoing priority is to provide
their members with software improvements and new innovations, fast
response to all industry regulations, ongoing training, and technical
support for the software that runs their agencies.
The Cooperative's mandate is to provide quality technology-based
products and services that enhance each member's ability to provide
optimal service to consumers and creditors alike.
